About Neighbourhood Management

We aim to build thriving neighbourhoods where people choose to live.

Neighbourhood management is the way we take account of local needs and preferences so we can improve our services and the quality of life of local people.

How do we make sure your ideas count?

  • We work with you to find local problems, such as anti-social behaviour and environmental problems.
  • We encourage you to have the confidence to be an active member of your community, for example we organise local residents meetings, help groups form and develop, and organise or support specific events and meetings.
  • We ensure that your ideas, concerns and priorities for services count for the whole area.  We regularly meet other local service providers and other agencies to make sure they know what's important in neighbourhoods when planning their services.

Our estate standards reflecting condition and appearance are:

Gold                       Very good or good

Silver                     Satisfactory

Bronze                   Poor or very poor

Good Neighbours

You can also help build a better neighbourhood by being a good neighbour.

Estates, Estate Inspections, Estate Improvements and Regeneration

We are keen to improve existing estates and prove new affordable homes.

Rubbish and Fly Tipping

The irresponsible dumping of rubbish in communal areas can cause nuisance and danger to others.

Vehicle Maintenance and Abandoned Vehicles

We will request the removal of a vehicle from our land if it is considered to be untaxed and/or abandoned and a danger to public health.

Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance - Communal Areas

You and we are both responsible for looking after the councilman areas around your home.

Tress

Your tenancy agreement shows that you are responsible for trees in your garden.
